Morse Shores, Fort Myers, FL · January 2026
Nestled along the quiet canals of the Morse Shores neighborhood, the property at 424 Parkway Court presented a unique challenge defined by its lush, tropical surroundings. Several mature mango trees canopy the outdoor living space, and while they offer beautiful shade, the resulting drop of sap, leaves, and organic debris had left the pavers heavily stained and weathered. The mission for this project was to reclaim the surface from years of environmental wear and provide a protective barrier that would stand up to the local elements. The transformation began with a rigorous deep-cleaning process designed to lift the stubborn organic tannins and oils left behind by the fruit trees. Once the surface was restored to its original clarity, we meticulously sanded the joints using high-quality Trident sand to ensure a clean, level foundation. Following the client’s specific vision and technical preferences, we then applied a single coat of client-supplied Cobble Lock semi-gloss sealer. This choice was made to strike a balance between enhancing the rich tones of the stone and maintaining a surface texture the client felt comfortable with. Throughout the process, we worked closely with the homeowner to tailor the application to their exact needs. While our standard protocol often involves multiple coats and joint stabilization, the client specifically requested a more streamlined approach to avoid any concerns regarding the surface becoming too slippery. By adhering strictly to these custom specifications and using the provided materials, we achieved a beautiful, refreshed look that honors the client's practical needs while providing the long-term protection necessary to keep the Florida landscape from reclaiming the pavers. The result is a polished, revived outdoor space that sits in perfect harmony with the overhanging greenery.
